EDWARD JOHN EYRE HIGH SCHOOL NOMINATED FOR AUSTRALIAN AWARDS

Edward John Eyre High School has been nominated and selected as a finalist for the Australian Training Awards – VET in Schools.

This is a national award which will be announced in Sydney, in November this year.

This nomination is a great achievement for our school community and reflective of the excellent pathways and educational opportunities available to our students working in partnership with Industry and TAFE SA.

On Friday 7 September, the South Australian Training Awards were held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, with state awards announced for VET Teachers, VET students and Businesses which play a significant role in Training and Education in South Australia.

Edward John Eyre High School was announced as a finalist of the Australian Awards for the School Pathways to VET Award at Friday night’s event.

Staff representatives at the event included STEM Coordinator Lauren Owen and Deputy Principal David Marino.
